The Fatra/ Kingspan mechanically fixed lap fastened roofliner panel system provides a highly cost effective method of waterproofing.
Unlike liquid membranes, the Fatrafol 810v is unaffected by substrate moisture and inclement weather conditions during installation which can cause the membrane to delaminate & defect prematurely. All joints, laps and terminations are hot air fusion welded creating a permanent and physical bond and does not rely on adhesives sealants or tapes to create a waterproofed joint.
The mechanically fixed lap fastened system reduces overall installation and programming times as well as reduced material costs resulting in one of the most cost effective PVC Membrane waterproofing systems available. The Fatrafol 810v reinforcement provides superior shear and tear resistance ensuring the membrane is able to withstand high amounts of wind uplift without damaging the membrane system.
Insulated roof panels are constantly exposed to excessive structural movement, the Fatrafol PVC membrane has the ability to move with the roof panels without causing the membrane to shear and tear unlike liquid applied systems which fail along the joints of the roof panel causing water to be absorbed in the roof panel core and potentially the internal building envelope.
The Fatrafol 810v polyester reinforced membrane is a reinforced PVC Membrane enabling the membrane to be lap fastened using Fatra pressure plates and fixings.
The membrane system is secured into place using Fatra pressure plates and approved fixings which are fixed through the field sheet membrane along the laps and into the cold store roof panel to create a cost effective mechanically fixed cold store system.
