The FatraPad mechanically fixed insulated cold store roof panel system provides a none-penetrative mechanically fixed waterproofing system that provides superior aesthetics and drastically reduces the amount of wind flutter the membrane is exposed to compared to traditional lap fastened systems.
Unlike liquid applied membranes, the Fatrafol 810v is unaffected by substrate moisture and inclement weather conditions during installation which can cause the membrane to delaminate and defect prematurely. All joints, laps and terminations are hot air fusion welded creating a permanent and physical bond and does not rely on adhesives sealants or tapes to create a waterproofed joint.
The Fatra mechanically fixed systems can be designed with multiple fixing patterns in accordance with AS1170 Part 2 to create a mechanically fixed system that improves the aesthetics and wind uplift performance of the Fatra PVC Membrane system. The Fatrafol 810v reinforcement provides superior shear and tear resistance ensuring the membrane is able withstand high amounts of wind uplift without damaging the PVC membrane system.
Insulated roof panels are constantly exposed to excessive structural movement, the Fatrafol PVC membrane has the ability to move with the roof panels without causing the membrane to shear and tear unlike liquid applied systems which fail along the joints of the roof panel causing water to be absorbed in the roof panel core and potentially the internal building envelope.
The Fatrafol 810v polyester reinforced membrane is a reinforced PVC Membrane enabling the membrane to be mechanically fixed using the Fatra engineered pad system.
The FatraPad system is a none-penetrative method of creating a mechanically fixed up system which does not physically penetrate the membrane. The FatraPad system achieves 6.4kN of uplift strength per pad and reduces wind flutter achieving superior aesthetics compared to lap fastened mechanically fixed systems.
